What We Are Seeking

We are seeking a full-time Personal Lines Account Manager who has great customer service skills, a positive attitude, thinks outside the box, and strives to become a trusted source for our clients.  Customer Service is very important to our agency as we have built a strong reputation in our area. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, have Personal Lines insurance experience, understand companies’ portal systems and have management system skills.  Will consider captive agency experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Learn the $2.5M+ book of business from the Senior Account Manager.
  • Review client policies, renewal cycles, and coverage needs to provide proactive service.
  • Review renewals, assess coverage needs, and recommend policy adjustments to ensure optimal protection.
  • Build rapport and relationships with our clients by providing exceptional customer service through direct, responsive communication via phone and email.
  • Gather client details, obtain quotes, and present competitive coverage options.
  • Assist clients with claims reporting, follow-ups and carrier communication.
  • Identify and offer additional coverage to enhance client protection.
  • Manage policy changes, submit requests, and confirm updates with clients.
  • Update and maintain all client details in AMS360 (agency management system) to ensure the information is accurate and current.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma (or Equivalent)
  • License: Property & Casualty (MD)

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree; Some College; No Degree
  • Management System: AMS360 – willing to train
  • Computer Skills: Adobe, DocuSign, MS Outlook, MS Teams, MS Word, Zoom, MS Excel
