Overview

Role specifics:

  • Expected Salary Range: up to $175,000 per year, dependent upon experience.
  • Jurisdictions: Open to any
  • Licenses: must be willing to obtain all licenses stated by manager within specified timeframe
  • Location: This role is eligible for fully remote work.

You will do significant work in partnership with our EPL clients, taking ownership to make better decisions earlier in the life of every claim. You will identify and deliver the right resources at the right time and in the right place, while thinking critically to solve problems, plan effectively, and prioritize activities. In serving clients, you will communicate effectively and embrace new challenges to drive success.

  • Supervise a Liability claims team delivering high quality and efficient service.
  • Drive adjuster hiring and training to nurture a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
  • Manage workloads, define team goals, and motivate performance.
  • Use Gallagher's technology to enhance your team's efficiency and quality.
  • Communicate with clients, careers and brokers in a professional, positive and proactive manner.
  • Effectively manage multiple competing priorities, identify coaching opportunities and position team members for successful development.

About You

Required:

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum of 10 years related claims experience required
  • Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all states in which claims are being handled
  • Knowledge of all team member related functions
  • Proficient in Coverage analysis

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Juris Doctorate highly preferred
  • Must have EPL Claims Experience
  • Must have Supervisory or Leadership Experience

Behaviors:

  • Ability to think critically, solve problems, plan and organize activities, serve clients, negotiate, effectively communicate verbally and in writing and embrace new challenges.

  • Analytical skill necessary to make decisions and resolve issues inherent in handling of claims.

  • Ability to successfully negotiate the settlement and disposition of claims including the ability to interpret related documentation.
