Atlantic Union's Enterprise Internship program is a professional development opportunity for local students to gain practical work experience, helping students become better prepared to enter into the financial industry post-graduation. Students have the ability to build professional networks and receive training and mentoring throughout the program.
Atlantic Union's Enterprise Risk Management Intern is a Risk Analyst position conducting various duties to support AUB's Risk Division. Duties include business continuity planning, enterprise risk assessment, policy and procedure updates, and process mapping. Activities will involve interacting with various stakeholders throughout the Bank to help identify, assess, monitor, and manage risk at Atlantic Union Bank.
This intern position will experience an overview of multiple enterprise risk management functions and contribute to program elements such as:
- Enterprise Business Resiliency
- Risk Governance (policies and procedures, risk framework implementation, risk communication plans)
- Third Party Risk Management
- Fair Lending Compliance
- Issues Management
Organizational Relationship
This position will report to Risk Management leadership and has a hybrid residency.
Position Qualifications
Education, Experience, and Position Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years' old
- Currently working on degree in Finance, Economics or Business
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university is required, and students must be undergraduates entering their junior or senior year or currently pursuing a graduate level degree
- Must be available to work a 40-hour week, Monday through Friday
- Must submit a resume and cover letter highlighting accomplishments, professional and academic goals, and expectations of this internship position
- Must submit transcripts and two professional or academic references
